وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكَىٰ مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًا“Had it not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever.”

زَكَّى الشيءَ: طَهَّرَهُ؛ زَكَّى نفسَهُ: ادَّعَى بأنَّهُ زَكِيٌّ
پاک کرنا، خود کو پاک قرار دینا

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا“He has succeeded who purifies it (the soul).”

فَأَرَدْنَا أَن يُبْدِلَهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُ زَكَاةً وَأَقْرَبَ رُحْمًا“So we intended that their Lord replace for them one better than him in purity and nearer to mercy.”
