وَلَوْ أَرَاكَهُمْ كَثِيرًا لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ سَلَّمَ“If He had shown them to you as many, you would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter, but Allah saved [you].”

حوالے کرنا، ادا کرنا
To hand over intact; to pay to hand over
Quranic witness · shāhid
وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّا آتَيْتُم بِالْمَعْرُوفِ“And if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute, there is no blame upon you as long as you give payment according to what is acceptable.”

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّىٰ تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا“O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants.”

اسلام قبول کرنا، فرمانبردار ہونا

Quranic witness · shāhid
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ أَسْلِمْ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ“[Mention] when his Lord said to him, 'Submit', he said, 'I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds.'”

To surrender, to submit the affair to Allah

بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ“But yes, whoever submits his face in Islam to Allah while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord.”

وَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَاقٌ فَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ“And if the deceased was from a people at war with you but is a believer, then a blood payment presented to his family.”

صلح، امن، فرمانبرداری
Peace; surrender, submission
Quranic witness · shāhid
فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلًا“And if they withdraw from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause [for fighting] against them.”

قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَىٰ“Say, [O Muhammad], 'Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen.'”
