وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُوا مَا آتَيْنَاكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَاسْمَعُوا“And [recall] when We took your covenant and raised over you the mount, [saying], 'Take what We have given you with determination and listen.'”

وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ“And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth.”

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَاءُ“Not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills.”
